About the Hotel
Salmakis Resort & Spa is set at Bitez — a sheltered bay on the southwestern Bodrum coast approximately 8 kilometres from central Bodrum, known for its calm, shallow water and welcoming atmosphere for families and windsurfing enthusiasts. The bay's natural protection from the prevailing winds creates ideal conditions for swimming and paddleboarding, while also generating the light breezes that make it popular for beginner and intermediate windsurfers.
The area is surrounded by tangerine orchards and has a relaxed village character that contrasts pleasantly with the busier resort zones. Bitez Beach is a long stretch of pebble and sand beach with a good selection of beach cafes and restaurants. The drive to central Bodrum, the castle and the marina takes under 20 minutes.
Your driver will be at Izmir Airport arrivals with a sign. Journey to Bitez takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours.
