Cesme Cruise Port is one of the growing cruise destinations on the Aegean coast, receiving ships from major Mediterranean cruise lines throughout the season. The port sits right in Cesme harbour, close to the castle and the town centre — which means disembarking passengers can step off the ship and walk straight into one of the most historically interesting and visually attractive port towns on the Turkish coast.
For passengers joining a cruise at Cesme, transferring from Izmir Airport to the port is the most practical and comfortable option. The journey takes around 60 to 75 minutes. We recommend allowing at least 2 hours before embarkation time. For large groups, our Mercedes Sprinter comfortably accommodates up to 15 passengers with full cruise luggage.
For disembarking passengers, we arrange your transfer to Izmir Airport with precise timing based on your disembarkation slot. Cesme is also the departure point for daily ferries to Chios — the Greek island just 45 minutes across the water. A passport is required for the Chios crossing. If your schedule allows time in port before heading to the airport, the Cesme castle, the famous Kumru sandwich stands and the ferry terminal are all within easy walking distance of the cruise pier.
