Akanthus Hotel Ephesus is a small, beautifully constructed boutique hotel of 10 rooms set around a private courtyard with its own pool — a genuine gem in the centre of Selcuk. The hotel is built from traditional stone in multiple buildings that surround the courtyard, giving it the atmosphere of a private home rather than a hotel. Each room is individually decorated with handmade details, high-quality linens and hand-painted tilework in the bathrooms. A terrace and seating area are attached to every room.
The location is exceptional: the Ephesus Archaeological Museum is 200 metres away, the Basilica of St. John (where the apostle is buried) is 400 metres, the Temple of Artemis — once one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World — is 600 metres, and Isabey Mosque is a 7-minute walk. Ephesus Ancient City itself is 2.6 kilometres. Coffee and cake are available to guests throughout the day in the courtyard.
