Güllü Konakları is a small boutique hotel set in a restored historic Greek house in the heart of Sirince Village — an Ottoman hilltop settlement 8 kilometres above Selcuk, famous for its narrow cobbled streets, fruit wine shops, stone houses and extraordinary views across the valley towards the Aegean coast. The property has 7 rooms, a garden and terrace that take full advantage of the hillside setting.
At 4.3 kilometres from the ancient city of Ephesus, Güllü Konakları is close enough to the ruins for a morning visit without the drive from the coast. The village of Sirince itself is a destination — the fruit wines (made from peaches, blackberries, strawberries and other local fruits), the olive oil, the handicrafts and the sheer visual beauty of the hilltop location draw visitors from across the Aegean every day during the season.
Staying in Sirince rather than on the coast is a fundamentally different experience — quieter evenings, cooler nights, the sound of the village rather than a resort, and the ability to explore the streets before and after the day visitors arrive and leave.
